Oh how much I love what they've done with the humble IKEA Mackis!

To believe that all of those pretty started with just the humble document drawer ;)

Some help blogger! It seems that I can't find any of Mackis drawer in my IKEA store; in any IKEA store for that matter online and in store. Any idea where can I get this from? It may be a discontinued item ... ( hate when they do that :p ) do any of you have one of this baby? ;)

Hello Monday

Good Morning bloggers!

I always believe that the best things in life are free and it often comes in a small little packages ;)

Anyhoo, how's everyone's weekend? Hopefully you all have chilaxing weekend. My weekend was full of chores, spring cleaning and also some herbs seedlings planting! Yes, you heard it right, we finally get around shopping for some seedlings! It was such a good weather over the weekend: it was sunny, warm but with a touch of coolness in the air. So off we go to our local garden store and shop.

Apparently it seems that we're not the only one who's thinking of planting an edible garden over the weekend, as the shop was packed full of people. Anyhoo, long story cut short, we buy some potting mix, some seedlings and off we go planting our mini edible patch  ( I'll upload some more photo later on this week ;)

Well, enough of my rants, we will continue our regular blogging posts in a few moments ;)

The roses in our garden finally blooming!

Hi Everyone! So sorry for my lack of post this week.
Due to enormous workload @ the office, I haven't been visiting blogger's blog in the blog-land all week long - I miss you guys truly! though I did visited some of yours, because I just can't resist your pretty, interesting and awesome blog posts ;)

And also lately, I have been having this bloggers-blocked = I have nothing to blog about (nothing that interest me enough to blog about). I have several post ideas comes into mind this week, but somehow I decided not to post it because I think it wasn't good enough (don't want to spam you guys with pointless post or repeating post from other people blog, now do we? ;3

Have you guys ever felt that way? If you have, what would be the best remedy for it? any suggestion? hints? tips and tricks? I need all the help that I could get *wink* wink* ;)

Okay... enough of my excuses ... to kick start your weekends, I leave you with some decor inspirations that I heart this week ...

+ I think I can easily sat by the window for hours reading my fave novel

+ doilies wallpaper!! to die for! and of course refreshing yellow is always a plus

+ awesome wall art! it will be a perfect compliment to any kid's room!

+ a great idea to make your room looks bigger! add high impact gigantic mirror! LOVE IT!

+ Walk-in wardrobe ... yes please! I take one to take home! :p

Lego Giant Brick Storage Boxes

Omigosh! I love love love LEGO so much!!

Heart LEGO!

Check out this cute GIANT LEGO storage boxes!! SUPER CUTE!! You can stack them as well, just like a real lego. Plus they also have the giant lego head as part as the storage! UBER CUTE!

 

 

 

It made especially for Store UK under Lego license, so each storage boxes, looks exactly like the original lego pieces.

They cost about £17.00 = AUD$28 for the medium size one which is the one with four knobbly bits on top and £26.00 = AUD$42 for the larger size ( 8 knobbly bits on top ). It's quite affordable - BUT unfortunately they don't ship it to Australia ( boooo! )

So I'm joining the bandwagon, to have Howard's Storage World stock them! You can simply leave a message in their Facebook account about the LEGO storage boxes. Who knows with a little people power, we can bring these little beauty to our shore!

Orange Cake and a little bit of ...

Good Morning Bloggers!

How's everyone's weekend been? My weekend felt more like winter weekend. It's so cold over the weekend! I have to cracked up our heater yet again ( booo ... T__T ) Where have the warm spring weather gone too?!

Anyhoo, so what else have I been up to over the weekend? Well, on Saturday I went to spotlight to hunt down some bargain ( because it's having massive 3 days sale! ). I ended up with some grey fabric for my work skirt ( bargain from $20 a meter to only $2 a meter! woot woot! ) and some sewing essentials ( threads, zipper, etc etc ). On Sunday, I attempted on making my first ever Orange Cake! It turned up pretty yummy.

and I think Spencer agreed as well, as he took the first bite of it :p
So here it is, to cap off my weekend ... An Orange cake and a little bit of Spencer ;)
